Crawdad Making A Point.

Tom "Crawdad" Rosser Jr.

1944 - 2003

Tom "Crawdad" Rosser Jr., 59, a loving husband, father and grandfather, passed away Wednesday, May 7, 2003, in Forest, Miss.

Funeral: 2 p.m. Saturday at Shannon Rufe Snow Funeral Chapel, 6001 Rufe Snow Drive, Fort Worth. Burial: Hillcrest Cemetery in Ardmore, Okla.

Memorials: can be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association in Denver, Colo., for John Bailey Douglas at 720 S. Colorado Blvd., Suite 450-S, Denver, Colo. 80246.

Mr. Rosser was a native of Houston and had been a resident of Fort Worth for the past eight years. He had spent his younger years in New Orleans, La., before joining the U.S. Air Force in 1961 as a missile mechanic. Mr. Rosser graduated from American Flyers Flight School in Ardmore, Okla., in March 1966 and then became an instructor at the school. He currently was a pilot for Polar Air Cargo and was a sergeant at arms for the Boozefighters Motorcycle Club Chapter 69. Mr. Rosser was a member of Cornish Primitive Baptist Church in Wilson, Okla.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Watson Rosser Sr. and Hazel Beason Rosser.

Survivors: Wife, Dene Rosser; son, Tom Rosser and wife, Pam, of Fort Worth; daughter, Stacee Johnston and husband, James, of Fort Worth; mother-in-law, Dean Shurley of Ardmore, Okla.; and grandsons, Tyler Johnston, Matthew Rosser and Luke Rosser, all of Fort Worth.
