OR BETTER YET…CAN YOU’Z

GUYS STILL RIDE WITH ME?

The other day I was at our Boozefighters  CH 69 monthly meeting and having an early BS discussion in the parking area tables with some folks to include Big John. He asked…JQ do you still even have a bike?  In the last few months all I’ve seen you in is a cage.

Yep Big John I’ve got three bikes.  Actually four as soon as my stepson gets through re-building my old 1973  HD Sportster.  When I travel the 40 miles to get to the monthly meeting I don’t have a problem coming on my bike.  But when I head back home in the dark after a bunch of J&W’s I can’t see worth a poopo.  Anyway I feel more comfortable trying to balance 4-wheels along the way home.  But I’ll send you a picture of one of my bikes to assure you that I’m still a rider (Big John the above picture is for you).

Fact is my grandson Mike brought a dirt bike over for all of us to enjoy ridding.  Since it was green he thought it would be cool to put our CH “69” on it too.  Along with the neighbor’s ranchette and wooded creek I’ve had a ball doing some cross-country dirt biking.

The below (and home page) pictures are of my great grandson LUKE practicing.  He’s still a little too young and his feet won’t reach the pedals so he’s just learning to make a varooom motor noise and pretending to be ridding.  Eventually he’ll get there I’m sure.  And maybe some day he’ll be a Boozefighter man too.
